Grapefruit Seed Extract

Description

Grapefruit Seed Extract, also known as Citrus Seed Extract or GSE is a viscous, golden yellow liquid, derived from the seeds and juiceless pulp of the Grapefruit.

It is used in skincare products as a non-toxic anti-oxidant, antiseptic or disinfectant. The suggested usage is round 2% in a formulation.

We do however strongly recommend that if the product you are making is for sale and not just for personal use that you ensure your product is thoroughly tested for microbial stability before relying on GSE as a preservative.
