Zinc Oxide BP Grade Powder

Description

Non-micronized. Used in a number of cream, lotion and ointment formulations to help protect the skin from sunburn or ease itching. Or as an ingredient in baby powder, barrier creams and anti-septic ointments. It is the main component of calamine powder.

BP Grade is also known as pharmaceutical grade and is analogous to the American USP Grade. These products must conform to the standards set out by the British Pharmacopoeia in terms of purity and lack of contaminants.
